Dr Katie Simpson
MBBS BSc(Hons) MRCGP DCH DRCOG DFFP
Dr Katie Simpson is a specialist GP practising within the NHS in West Berkshire, as an Out-of-Hours GP across the Southwest of England and as a Private GP at The Ridgeway Hospital, Wroughton.
Katie trained at St. Mary’s Hospital Medical School - now part of Imperial College London - where she was the McCowan Scholar.
After qualification in 2000 and completing her specialist training in 2004, Katie became a Partner at an inner-city London practice in 2005, one of the first from her year at medical school to do so. Katie has since worked as a GP in a broad range of NHS practices in London and across West Berkshire and East Wiltshire, serving a broad range of patient demographics both in person and virtually.
As patients’ needs have become ever more complex, and with the ever-increasing challenge to access high quality primary care through the NHS, Katie took the decision to establish a private practice working from The Ridgeway Hospital in Wroughton, part of the Circle Hospital Group.
